Healthcare’s COVID-19 responses have resulted in an unprecedented increase in telehealth and digital health interventions. However, subsets of our communities are often left behind, lacking reliable hardware and internet access to join in, especially those who are low-income, older, or non-English speakers.
EngageWell Solution
EngageWell has designed a clinical care model, called “Care Your Way,” that includes a suite of interventions, augmented by digital health technologies, providing low-income clients new ways to access care.
In June 2021, EngageWell IPA was selected to participate in the Connected Care Pilot Program, a multi-year project funded by the Federal Communications Commission, to bring ‘connected care services’ – like telehealth and remote patient monitoring – to low-income and veteran populations.
